7.  Wuyuan County – In Jiangxi Province     

Wuyuan lies in Jiangxi’s NE corner. It has many villages that have remained almost unchanged over the last century partly because Wuyuan is remote and partly because Wuyang people tried hard to protect the villages’ structures and environment. It is known not only for its natural scenery but also for its glorious past.

Hiking to and in the villages offers refreshing views of scenic mountains, farmlands, trees, brooks, ancient buildings, unique bridges and most precious of all, the tranquil lifestyle enjoyed by the local residents.                                 

8.  Huashan Mysterious Grottos   

The Huashan Mysterious Grottos are near the eastern suburb of Tunxi City. They are a combination of natural caves and rooms carved into the rocks. It isn't known exactly who made them, when and for what purpose. It could be a shelter for troops and food or a place where the ancient people lived. But they are impressive especially with the newly installed colored lights. There were some carvings, stone paintings and doorways in the grottos.

There are 36 grottos altogether but we visited only three i.e. Grotto No 24, 35 and 2.
